Congress MP Sunil Sharma arrives to welcome Durga Prasai

Kathmandu. Congress MP Sunil Sharma has arrived to welcome medical practitioner Durga Prasai, who returned to Dillibazaar Jail after posting bail following the Patan High Court order.

Prasai reached the Dillibazaar Jail a short while ago. The jail is working to complete the remaining process after posting bail.

The Patan High Court had sought a total of Rs 2.8 million bail in the banking offence and the royalist agitation incident, and he returned to Dillibazaar Jail on Monday evening after posting the amount.

The Patan High Court has ordered him to be released on bail in two cases. The order has been issued to release him on bail in both the case related to the royalist agitation that took place on 15 Chaitra and the banking offence.

A bench of Patan High Court Justices Sudarshan Dev Bhatta and Munendra Prasad Awasthi has sought a bail of Rs 2.5 million from him in the banking offence.

A bench of High Court Justices Tanka Prasad Gurung and Dilli Ratna Shrestha has ordered his release on a bail of Rs 300,000.
