Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba, suddenly arrived in Nepal
Kathmandu. Jack Ma, the Chinese billionaire and founder of Alibaba, has suddenly arrived in Nepal. He landed at Tribhuvan airport around 2.30 pm on Tuesday afternoon through a special chartered plane.
Jhalakram Adhikari, director general of the immigration department, confirmed that Jack had arrived in Nepal. But the reason why he suddenly came to Nepal like this has not been revealed yet.
Jack Ma’s company Alibaba has invested in Daraz, Nepal’s largest online market place and e-commerce site. Recently, the Chinese government has taken a strict policy against Jack Ma and his company.
He remained anonymous from public life for some time and came out only recently.
